Making Sense of Spring 2010 Trends
The Special Touch 4u

The palette this Spring is cool and clean with bursts of bright.
*Sandstorm is the new neutral, a powdery blush of desert sand.
*Carbon Grey the new black, the saturated slate deep enough to balance shades soft and strong.
*Pink Frost is nearly nude.
*Ivory the cream of the crop.
The electrics are graphic and full of fire: *Lemon Spritz a chrome yellow;
*Tamale a red-hot red;
*Lime our crushed-ice green.
*Sierra is rich caramel.
*Wood pitch brown.
*Black and White crisp, pure and pretty.
The little topper is a big spring trend.
We call it the JTG—the jacket that grew. A little longer, a lot chic'er. The big finish indoors, outdoors; over dresses, pencil skirts, arrow-narrow pants. Cut for ease, the topper is the right proportion right now.
The bold shoulder is ahead of the curve.
Sexy shoulders were the talk of Paris. Shaped, curvy, girlish. Say au revoir to the eighties. This is the beginning of a brand new trend.
